Step 1

This dry bag is provided for you to use during your trip. You will have access to this bag all day long. Open bag from the top, notice the two black clips on the corners of the opening. Also note that this bag is not tubular shaped like the "blue bag," rather it is shaped more like a manilla envelope. When laying flat and empty, it measures 2 feet in length and 1 1/2 feet wide (don't forget to leave room to roll it down at the top).

Step 2

Stuff your gear into the dry bag. This bag is for items that you need access to during the day such as your hiking shoes, a small day hike pack, rain gear, sunscreen, etc. To see a demonstration of the waterproof bag that we provide you for the rest of your river gear that you do NOT have access to during the day, click here.

Step 3

Push your gear into all of the open space inside your bag. Close the top of the bag and roll the bag down. The more rolls you are able to get, the more waterproof your bag will be. For added waterproof protection for items such as a camera or book, pack in a zip lock baggie.
